THE MOSES KAZIBWE MEMORIAL FUND
FOR AFRICAN CHILDREN
intends to
improve the lives and future of
African children

MISSION STATEMENT

THE MOSES KAZIBWE MEMORIAL FUND FOR AFRICAN CHILDREN, or as we call it, THEMOSES FUND, was started in 2003 in Orange County, California.  We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Costa Mesa, CA.  which seeks to educate people about the plight of African children.  We hold events to raise money for appropriate goods and services with the intention of improving the lives of African children, giving them hope for the future.  In addition to fund raising, we promote awareness of African culture and history in American classrooms through presentations and ongoing education.

In order to achieve this goal, THE MOSES KAZIBWE MEMORIAL FUND FOR AFRICAN CHILDREN is developing a network of people in Africa who understand the needs of African children and can devise a course of action that will address these needs in a way that brings about long-lasting and meaningful change.

Since African countries have varying stages of infrastructure, this network will develop a system to move contributions between and within African countries to ensure that the intended children are the recipients of the organizations' contributions.

It is our expectation that the African and American branches of THE MOSES KAZIBWE MEMORIAL FUND FOR AFRICAN CHILDREN will develop an ongoing dialogue to accomplish all the goals stated above; a bridge of understanding and friendship between our two continents will evolve, changing the way we interact.
